AcuteJobs is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

AcuteJobs aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide array of disabilities.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML landmarks, single H1 per page, and logical heading order.
  • Keyboard-navigable interfaces with visible focus indicators.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background (AA).
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images and ARIA labels on icon-only controls.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow to 320 px viewports without loss of content.
  • Support for OS-level reduced-motion and dark-mode preferences.

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds (video players, external ATS forms) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are working with vendors to address these gaps.

Assessment approach

AcuteJobs assesses accessibility through a combination of automated tooling (axe, Lighthouse), manual keyboard testing, and periodic audits by external accessibility specialists.
